Sprucewood District (Wildwood, Westgate and surrounding areas) will hold its registration night on Wednesday, September 1 at 7:00pm in the Westgate Community Hall (4943 - 8 Ave. SW). This registration is for all girls who would like to participate in the most popular women's organization in the world! Join Girl Guides and experience the opportunity to do things, be active, have fun and practice the concepts of friendship, co-operation and helping others! Camping and nature activities promote environmental stewardship and an understanding of the wonders of nature - and are loads of fun! Registration is open to:

Sparks: (ages 5-6)
Brownies: (ages 7-8)
Guides: (ages 9-12)
Pathfinders: (ages 12-15)

Guiding is also a great way for women to make new friends and explore new horizons as leaders and mentors. Leaders are needed in several areas. Training and support is available for anyone interested. Call Marg (249-9326) or Kathy (249-6448) for more information.
