May 13, 2006 - 2 hour program

Every day thousands of teens take their first smoke, shoot-up or begin experimenting with alcohol. Say "No" to Drugs and Alcohol is designed to target pre-teen and teens. This harsh, bottom-line program covers alcohol, cigarettes and most common street drugs; their toxic ingredients, effects on the mind and body, the long term effects and most importantly how to build your self esteem and learn the numerous ways to say "No" to drugs. This course has a bold anti-drug message and is intended to educate youth to the dangers of drugs and alcohol. This is NOT a therapy or treatment program. Students will participate in group discussion, interactive lessons, and role playing. Parents will return to the program for the last 15 minutes for open discussion with their children.
